List of potteries is incomplete
If you are a collector of Arts and Crafts Art pottery this book is not for you. Of the many collectible potteries for this movement (i.e. Rookwood, Grueby, Weller, Hull, Tiffany, Pewabic, Teco, Newcomb, Ohr, Chelsea,Fulper, Roseville and Van Briggle) only two (Roseville and Van Briggle) areincluded in this book.

This is a must book for anyone that needs info on pottery.
My copy is dogg-earred, stained and marked-up. I've identified alot pieces of pottery with this trusty book I've always felt confident in it's information and price list. Please Mr. Duke another one.

Conti can write!
I was so pleased to receive this book.Mr. Conti elevates biographical data to a new plane.His descriptions are insightful and useful in the evaluation of Sascha art.This is one of the best books I've acquired onAmazon.

Absolutely Wonderful Book
Thsi is one of the most informative books I own, and I have aver 100 books on Antiques and Collectibles. Wonderful pictures, price guide, and the most interesting biography of Sacha's life beginning in early childhood.

Great book for oyster plate collectors!
Although the 2 plates I have are not featured in the book, there are pages and pages of color pictures and information that are really informative. There is also a chapter or two on oyster "trivia". For the price, this book should be a hardback, but otherwise the content is relavent and beautifully laid out. I highly recommend it to anyone who is even thinking about starting a collection. I never dreamed there were so many exotic oyster plates from so many different places!

This book gives excellent value for money.
I bought this out of curiousity brought on by the possession of two subtley disparate pieces of Blue Willow ware about which I was curious as I was under the impression that the patterns were all the same.This book immediately disabused me of this notion which is, in big part, why this is such a great reference:Because it shows and describes a myriad of different vessels, wares, designs, and manutacturers in FULL COLOR with information that is relevant and helpful to both the novice and the professional.

Too much NEW Limoges
I purchased this book based on these reviews and I was disappointed.I am interested in ANTIQUE Limoges vs newer pieces of Limoges and new boxes from retail shops.Love Schiffer books and I highly recommend Antique Limoges at Home.

The Book that Helped
After my aunt's demise several years ago, I was the recipient of some odd pieces of old china.I wondered as to the age of the pieces, and so I went to the Internet.What do you think I found. You're right, my china was listed in the book that I purchased through Amazon.com.

DISAPPOINTED THAT THE BOOK DID NOT GO BACK TO THE EARLY HOMER LAUGHLIN. LITTLE INFO ABOUT VARIOUS MARKS. NOT COMPLETE ENOUGH FOR THE PRICE.
