Very Informative Book for Porcelain Collectors Everywhere!
This is an excellent reference book!It is in black and white with some pictures and a decent price list.The best thing about this book is the broad range of porcelain manufacturers listed and the histories, otherreferences and collecting hints.Items are listed with good descriptionsand price list.It also contains marks.It lists individual manufacturersand also gives histories on manufactureing areas.Altogether a very goodbook and valuable to porcelain collectors! ... Collector Books did not live up to its generally fine quality of productions in this guide to English ceramics.The text is awkwardly written, confusing or contradictory in places, and colorless, lacking enthusiasm.Worse, a very large number of the illustrations are seriously shadowed, a most annoying flaw in an identification guide.On the plus side, the range and selection of objects discussed is ample, and the illustrations of marks are helpful. ... Great Reference Book
I really love this book.I've used it many times to find the names of patterns I have from years of estate sales to sell on e-Bay.Great work.

Definately worth the price
A wonderful beautifully done book.This is a great book for looking up patterns. There are plenty of color photos which show great detail.I plan on buying the previous and subsequent volumns of this book.

This book is an excellent adjunct to the more commonly seenMary Frank Gaston's Encyclopedia. Kearn's book contains over 150photos of Knowles, Taylor, Knowles pottery, with a strong focus on the famous Lotus Ware (sometimes referred to as American Belleek), and Meredith and other jugs.Read more

Warwick China Co. book review
I was totally impressed by the Warwick China book by John Rader which I bought from Amazon.com. The entire book is excellent and was exactly what I was hoping for, and then some. This hard-cover book has a great history of the Warwick China Co. in the front, then section by section about the products it produced, complete with lots of high quality photos. Best of all, this book has easy to understand estimated values of each item, which helped me price several Warwick pieces I currently own. This is an invaluable reference book for any Warwick collector or dealer.
