A graphic artists'MUST HAVE reference.
There have been many great graphic artists in the past several decades. In my opinion, The Stenberg Brothers produced some of the finest graphicalworks of art in this Century. The Stenberg Brothers lived andproduced their Art in 1920's...and 1930's. Fueling the Soviet propagandamachine.Look beyond the thorns of the Soviet era propaganda machine.If you are a true graphic artist, you will definately appreciate thefantastic talents of the Stenberg Brothers and Soviet-era art. TheStenbergs were Masters of the Graphic Arts.This book should not belisted as a "book". Rather, it should be listed as an artists'portfolio. This "portfolio" of Soviet artwork is a MUST foreveryone with an interest in appreciating the graphic arts. The StenbergBrothers were truly MASTERS of their medium. This BOOK is packed FULLof high quality, premium-paper-stock reproductions of the best works thesebrothers have ever produced. I recommend it wholley!

A great look at early Soviet-era poster design

Movie Posters of the Silent Era to color
It was an incredibly well drawn piece of work,and fun to color,too!It must have been a Herculean effort for the artist NOT to color it in himself!It BEGS to be colored! My children can't keep their hands off it,so I have to put it up high(it's mine,you know)Thank you for a wonderful time!

MOVIE POSTERS OF THE SILENT FILM ERA TO COLOR is, as noted on the cover,a 'coloring book' in the Stemmer House 'International Design Library' series. The black and white renderings of originalfilm posters, by Rex Schneider, are accurate and quite well executed.
