KISS FOR THE COLLECTOR
This new guide for KISS merchandise is very nicely done.The pictures andcommentary are very helpful.The price guide portion is at the end of thebook.That is the only disappointing aspect.The prices should be next toeach item displayed.Overall, this is a very pleasing and entertainingbook.

A much need book with usual first edition problems
This is a much needed book for the collecting community and I am glad that someone has attempted to tackle this subject.For a first edition it is a good start. Hopefully future editions will be more complete like the Tim Neely Goldmine price guides. I believe that the author has biten off more than he could chew trying to list both domestic and import compact discs.A few examples of what I was looking for that are not represented are as follows:If you want to know if your original Paul McCartney "Tug of War" CD on Columbia is worth more than the current Capitol version you will only see the Capitol version listed.The Columbia one sells for a premium on Ebay.The Motown Two-fers that MCA put out in the late 80's are also collectible and not listed. Some popular rock artists are well represented while others especially Soul are not.Like all price guides the values are subjective.Currently available compact discs have their full retail price listed which makes their value over inflated. If this is going to be the book of record then collecter's input for future edtions will make this book a must-have. ... Read more

A Must Buy BOOK!
This Book was an excelent recourse to me. An autograph and cd collector myself... this was very helpful. Its full of crazy memoribila with the prices you can buy and sell them at. I took a look through my own memoribila.. and even made some money from the knowlege of this book. Its ver interesting and even funny! GREAT BOOK!!!

Don't buy this book
This book is a waste of paper. The only worthwhile information is copied from other books, in diluted form! Most of the entries are so general to be of no value. Spend your money elsewhere, and save a tree.

Great book with lots of history and worthwhile information.

not good
...the first thing I see is that the front cover picture is all blurry. Plus the photos inside are all black and white. "worst book ever" as the comic book guy would say.

Lots of effort, research and love for the hobby has made this book as excellent as it is. It's obvious that this piece is written by a true fan, which makes it all the more interesting. The book takes an exhausting look at the variety of Simpsons merchandise, with hundreds of photos and pricing information. I've never considered myself a collector, but browsing through the pages of this book made me want more items I can ever afford to buy. That's why having this guide is a nice substitute for having the real things.

Instead of History 101 this is SIMPSONS COLLECTING 101. It is a very well written, and highly entertaining book, for anyone who knows THE SIMPSONS are not related to OJ!
