Anathlete's book
"Sports Immortals" is a fantastic nonfiction novel writen by Jim Platt.Sports Immortals has the best collection of sports items ever.If you look in the book and see all the valuable items, they are all owned by one person, his name is Joel Platt. He started collecting them when he was in the hospital and Babe Ruth came to visit him. Some items were Muhammad Ali's boxing gloves,Oscar Robinson's basketball jersey, and Bade Bruth's baseball jersey. There are many different characters who were the best athletes in the world.

Tuff Stuff's Baseball Postcard Collection
If you love baseball and postcards, you have found the perfect book. Ron Menchine -- the last voice of the now gone but never forogoten Washington Senators -- has put together a delight for the mind and the eye. Not onlydoes he show some of the hardest-to-find and beautiful baseball postcards,but his commentary on the history backing them up is as good as it gets. Heknows the game -- and loves it. And it shows. What particularly caught myattention was the commentary and photos of the early 20th Centurypostcards, not often seen at shows or in collection. If you're looking fora comprehensive checklist book of baseball postcards through the decadesthis is not it. It does have some values. The Most Sought After Price Guide In The Hobby
Folks, let's make this nice and simple, Beckett Price Guides are the most accepted price guides in the world PERIOD No other racing price guide even comes close to the popularity of Beckett. Collectors the WORLD over look enthusiastically for each new Beckett release. As for this book, I dare say you will not find another publication that covers its listings in greater detail. This book lists thousands of cards and hundreds of die-cast car values. With the card listings, many sets are given a value along with vital information about each one. Then many sets are broken down into listings for each individual card and a value placed on each card. There's listings for vintage sets as well as some of the more popular ones. Photos are included as well as special notations about things like error cards, rare subsets and the like. This guide will be a big help to anyone interested in the racing hobby. Beckett guides are the ONLY ones I currently use.

Outdated Price Guide
Soon after the release of the Beckett Racing Price Guide, the Beckett Racing & Motorsports Marketplace monthly magazine drastically reduced the book value of most trading cards.In doing so, Beckett rendered theirown Beckett Racing Price Guide useless.The racing trading card enthusiastwould be better off subscribing to the monthly magazine.

YANKS AT BAT ARE THE GREATEST!!!
As a long-time collector of sports memorabilia, which has to include the New York Yankees, this is a superb book for beginners and experts.While would be virtually impossible to cover the long history of the Yankees in one book, this one does an excellent job.The articles on various aspects of collecting Yankees memorabilia are very thorough and will give anyone much needed direction on how they should proceed with their interests in this team.Wish they could have had more on the earlier memorabilia (pre 1970s) but it does have to be compelete through the years.This should be on the top of any sports memorabilia collectors "want list". ...
