A Real Must Have for the Hartland collector
I highy recommend this book. This book is a must have for the Hartland and model horse collector. It is very thorough. Easy to read for younger collectors, too. A lot of work went into this book. The pictures and information are just wonderful. It has helped me with identifying and catloging my own collection.. I take it with me when I going antiquing. I would highly also recommend her other book: Hartland Horses and Dogs.

Good guys still wear white hats

Not Very Useful
Outdated within weeks after its release.Collectors and enthusiasts are better served by Mary Beth magazines and internet.

Pretty good
This book was pretty good.It has a part called the Beanie Explosion which is the history history of Beanie Babies, all the Beanie Babies up to the fall, 1998 releases, a checklist and Beanie Babie Profiles.

Awesome amount of information!
This book is really incredible. Not only was I amazed by the amount of bean bags included, the pictures and pricing information is great, too. Finally, someone who prices beanies realistically, and not according towhat so-called "collectors" (a.k.a. "secondary marketdealers") wished they could get for beanies--these are real pricesthat you can expect to pay for and receive for any kind of bean bag. I loveDisney and Warner Brothers and advertising bean bags even better than Tyones, and this is definitely the book to have. Thanks Mrs. Brecka for agreat book! I hope you continue to come out with new updated books.

The Book of Beanie Babies September 1998 by Lynn Dralle
I purchased all the sets I could for this book plus the extra binder, but nothing after the September releases have been issued, I feel this set is incomplete as nothing was published after that date. What happened to all the releases and retirements after September 1998? Now I bought this setand can't complete it.

Charming Tails (A Collector's Value Guide)
I found this book to be very helpful in placing value and making new purchases. The only problem I have is that is outdated. We are going into the year 2000 and there has not been a 1999 version published yet.

Good, but could be improved!
The book is an excellent source of information about Charming Tails. The only problem is that there needs to be a different value shown for pieces that are signed or that do not have boxes.Collectors would then be ableto price their pieces more accurately. ... Read more

THE UNOFFICIAL BEANIE BABIES INTERNET GUIDE
BOY - talk about a waste of money!If this book is updated every 100 copies, i must've gotten #99! Some of the sites have been 'closed' since end of '99 (and here it is almost May 2000!), and gives absolutely NOuseful guides to auctions and re-seller's markets; the few 'auction' siteslisted have absolutely NO bids on them, and i could care less about'personal' collector's sites!
