Geology for Kids a Winner!
I used this book with a 7th grade class of "reluctant learners" and was completely delighted by their enthusiasm.All of the projects we tried (about 3/4 of those offered) were successful. As I was operating on alow budget, I appreciated being able to use the easily found materials andingredients listed in the procedures.The Faux Marble project results wereespecially astounding. Get this book and enjoy!

This coloring book gives a VERY nice overview of desert plants and animals.Not only are the illustrations done very well, but there is a short paragraph at the bottom of each page that explains about the scene.My kids had a great time coloring their favorite animals, and learning at the same time. ... Great stickers, but my pages keep falling out
These stickers are wonderful to look at but I think it's beyond the capablities of young children to put them in the right spots, and even with help it's not that easy. Also our pages keep falling out where we had pulled out the sticker sheets. Dorling Kindersley (the publisher) has several books about dinosuars and they have many of the same pictures as on these stickers. So if you have a child who is really into dinosaurs I'd just recommend buying an actual book about them.

Very detailed pictures, instructions lacking
Stickers all jumbled together with no key as to which page they are to go on.Very frustrating for my 4 year old to not be able to put them in the right places.We put them away for a while.Maybe more 5 or 6 to 9.

reusable stickers
This is a terrific product. When the sticker book arrived my 3 year old was sick. This kept him busy for several hours. Highly recomend.

Good Quiet Activity
We took this on vacation with us and three kids between the ages of 2 and 4.It was something different and they really enjoyed it.It was easy to pack and provided about an hour of quiet activity that didn't involve cartoons.It only lasted about 2 more times for my two year old son but older kids could probably get a few more uses out of it. ... another empty bookshelf
this book does not sit on my bookshelf but on my couch sometimes on my rocking chair but for the most part in my hands. it is such a treasure of a craft book well done clear instructions easily read very happy with this purchase! i am new to knitting so i had bought countless learn to knit kits/books stumbled upon this book through amazon to find a craft how to knit wool covers.. awesome! it is the first pattern i was able to make that worked! i love the fairy mobile craft as well as the hats for toddlers the rucksack the sewing is easy enough for me a beginner to do :)

Nice but not quite what I wanted.
I found the book "all year round" much more along the lines of what I wanted.Although I do see this staying in my collection as a regular browser :)

A great book to start scrapbooking with.
There were many things I enjoyed about this book.It gives many clear and not cluttered examples.It is very easy to understand along with providing different uses for the basic scrapbooking supplies.The pictures were great and I would not classify this as a childrens book either.

Great Beginner Book
What I like most about this book is that it presents the basics of scrapbooking in a well-written, simplistic format. All of the essential elements that experienced adult scrappers use are introduced page-by-page on a beginner's level. There are also many lettering and die cut examples to use, as well as simple lay outs to jump start one's creativity. i would not classify this as a "kids" book, but rather a primer on the art of scrapbooking. Well written and very colorful (something kids of all ages can appreciate!). Great Book!
