Good information on drying plants
Excellent detailed information on many different ways to dry flowers including charts on how long flowers take to dry in different methods and which methods should be used for which plants.This takes up about half the book and is very useful for those frustrated with the few miserable pages that most books give on drying.

Beautiful book and informative!
This book is great for a beginner.I went to the library to find a book that would tell me how to dry my valentine roses.I so thourghly enjoyed this book I am going to buy it for myself as well as for others as a gift. Not only does it tell you how to dry flowers, but it demonstrates step bystep how to grow them, and different ways to arrange them.It hasbeautiful pictures in it witharrangements from elegant, country to modern- something for everyone.I highly recommend it.It makes a lovelytabletop book as well as a reference book.The author Cathy Miller hasdesigned flower arrangements for presidents throughout the years, even forPresident Clinton who has allergies.Cathy has designed the flowerarrangements for him encased in glass! ... INSPIRING FOR HERB ENTREPENEURS!
If you dream of ever selling herbal crafts this book is a must-have with lots of ideas for products to offer, and how to package them, display them, and market them, and what imporatant information to include on the packaging.It contains recipes, and detailed easy-to-follow instructions for all of the projects included, plus discusses the different options to market them to the public.I'm planning on opening my own herb business and I found this book to be very helpful, I hope you do too.

If you want just one book on dried flowers this should be it.
A really excellent book with extensive information about how to dry flowers in several different ways.Detailed instructions on how to store flowers and what problems to watch out for.
Sensational Dried Flowers : Make Arrangements So Beautiful
This is a new hobby for me and I found the Book beautifully illustrated and easy to understand.The author covers a variety of subjects related to drying flowers such as tips on how to display the attractively and creatively after drying.She also has some chapters on how containers, from old boxes to odd-shaped baskets can serve as a base for your dried floral arrangement.She also included many names of flowers that can be successfully dried as well as a suggested timetable since flowers have different moisture content. One problem I had was finding Silica Jel in large quantities locally.If would have been helpful to have this info included in book.I did find a source in California however.

I'm hard pressed to think of a better book
Simply put, this book by Ms. Tiger is the most expressive piece of literary non-fiction I've ever read. Huzzah, huzzah!

The Pressed Plant
I was disappointed with this book - I was expecting something completely different.Very staid and did not give the information on pressed plants that I was looking for.

Excellent book for dried flower grower
An excellent reference book that deals with each individual plant that you can grow and dry.It offers growing and harvesting and dryingtips on each plant.This is very useful to ensure you harvest at the right time for each plant.Not every plant text has an accompanying photo however so you need to know what the plant is before you use the book.It also gives some nice layout suggestions for planting a flower bed to make the most of the plants in their setting before you harvest them.There is a nice section on drying techniques.It is a very good book for anyone who wants to grow and dry a few to many acres of plants.
