A Pretty Good Buick Book
Well, I must say that this is a unique and one of a kind book.It has tons of pictures and collectible prices (values).It has alot of items that I don't have in my collection and the ones that I do have it was cool to be able to see the average value of them. I found one in there, a Dale Earnhardt Ertl car, that has over a $500 value. If you collect buick stuff you need this book.Its about 70% racing items and the regular stuff only goes back to about the 1960's but thats really ok with me as I am only really interested in the buick muscle cars and the turbo cars.Anyway, hope this helps you if you are thinking about getting this book.And, since there really arent alot of buick books on the market its a great one to just add to your library even if you dont collect buick stuff but are just curious. ... Wonderful!
With no embroidery experience, I have been able to recreate some beautiful period pieces from this book. We are presented with an excellent range of Georgian items; from firescreens to stair carapets to samplers. They are surprisingly easy to do; just a little time consuming. I urge everyone to abandon any plan to buy a ready made carpet for your dollhouse; creating your own will be so much more satisfying! One of the best
Given that the Regency period (Australian Colonial where I'm from) is my favourite, perhaps my opinion is completely biased. But out of all of Warner's excellent books, this one is my favourite. I believe it has designs of greater variety than her others and they are truly beautiful. They are also versatile - I have items made from this book in all of my houses, which include an 1830s Sydney mansion, an Australian Victorian decorated to the Federation (1900) era, a modern Melbourne townhouse, a San Francisco Victorian with Arts & Crafts interiors and an English Georgian mansion! The projects range from simple crewelwork cushions that will take an hour to gorgeous carpets that may take months to complete. Wonderful at all !
This is my first time order the miniature books from here ,normally , I read the miniature books from Japanese issue . But after I received the books from here . I changed my mind atall ! Great for everyone, stunning fishined products
This is a fantastic book for the craftsman of miniature furniture and room settings. Suitable for the beginner or experienced modeler, the instructions here lead to stunning finished products. Great Instruction!
I am a beginner in miniatures and this book has made all the things that I wanted to do seem possible. I can hardly wait to get started on some of the kits I had purchased and put up until my dollhouse was completed. I wouldrecommend it to any person interested in modifying kits or constructingfrom scratch.

I went totally "ga-ga" for everypage I turned!
This book was definitely worth the price and more! You get 165 different patterns! If this book does not inspire the dollmaker-crafter,then I don't know what to say. The instructions were wonderful with the cuteillustrations! Even the novice would understand and create these dolls,noproblem. So go ahead and get this book, you won't be disappointed!!
