Fountains have become increasingly popular home-decor accents, but they can be somewhat pricey. Fortunately, many types are not very difficult to build, and can be made with lots of found materials and garden-center water pumps. Dawn Cusick's directions are good and her ideas relatively easy to duplicate. Her most successful designs are those that direct water to mimic nature by trickling over rocks and shells, or to flow through water-resistant items like brass vases, ceramic faces, or terra-cotta pots. Less successful are those that try to be too clever, such as the gift package fountain, whereby the water pouring over a stack of gift-wrapped boxes inspires nothing so much as the urge to grab a sponge to mop up the spill, or the office desk fountain, in which water cascades down a ladder of CDs set inside an empty computer monitor. Average Book on Fountains
I purchased this book in the hope of learning more about how tabletop fountains were built. The photo's are very pretty and the diagrams are drawn very well. However, there are several mistakes in the book beginning with minor spelling to mislabeling of at least 1 project.

Just ok...
This book is actually just a collection of articles bound together. While there is some good information here, I don't think it really had enough depth any of the subjects. Not a single mention in any article about how to 'put in all together' which was the thing I was looking for. If your wondering what to do, and in what order, you won't find the answers you need in this book. Good ideas but small on illustration
This book would have been a show stopper if it had been illustrated with every idea the author put forward. There are some good ideas that I was able to utilize, but as the other reviewers have noted, it's hard to get too excited about a line drawing and a list of colors.

Elegant and Easy: Anything But
With the title "Elegant and Easy," I figured this would be a very beneficial book to read, since I am building a new home and want a fresh, dramatic look.I was mistaken.They give color numbers, but no idea of what the color actually looks like;the designs are plain sketches without suggestions of substitution.I would have liked to have seen color photos of actual bedroom designs. An elegant and easy little book!
If you are like me, you need specific ideas on how to decorate your home. This book is packed with ideas that you can quickly apply to your bedroom. Much of the information is also helpful in decorating other areas of your house, such as the tips on paint color selection. The author even gives specific paint brands and numbers, with descriptions of their exact hues. There is a good variety of styles and tastes represented, along with information on how to order some of the decorating supplies suggested. Especially welcome is the section on store and catalog recommendations at the end of the book. The nicest thing about this book is its small size! Uneven
I remember seeing Katie Brown on TV and being fairly unimpressed; chancing on this book at a library, I borrowed it and was still unimpressed.
Absolutely Loved It!
What a great book, full of interesting and new ideas.I'm glad to see something different than all the other run of the mill decorating books.I loved the leather belts idea.Definitely worth checking out, nice, fresh ideas.

Should be called "Preparation for paintingyour home"
I bought this book thinking it would show many different decorating/painting techniques. This isn't really the case. It mainly shows how to prepare a room for decorating.

This is THE book for interior painting techniques
Home Improvement books tend to be either too verbose or deal with multiple subjects that are just too vague and off the subject.This is one of the exceptions.All common interior painting techniques are discussed, along with great pictures.The book doesn't stray from the subject at hand by showing you the author's home remodeling project. The Best, if you've never done any painting before
The book really goes into details on how to get quality of a painting surface. It tells how to prepare the surface, different types of walls, different types of paints, tips from professional painters and even some decorative painting techniques. Read more

Excellent teaching.
She's a good teacher! Although, the tool used is not the correct tool for professional finishes.Other than that, I think this book is worth the price. She does show you step by step techniques which makes this book valuable. I always refer back to it. Remember, although these books showyou step by step techniques, yours will never come out the same way.

Ok, here is the story, The bathroom was done by my brother in law before I ever lived in the house.To make a long story short it was horrid.The walls where at different levels because the sheetrock was put in completely willy nilly.Thus, the walls at the bottoms had slopes and had a half hearted evffort to fix it by giving it a "CRAPPY" spakle job that believe it or not made it look even worse.

Ford Tractor Shop Manual, Fo-20
You should understand that the material contained in this manual is as dated as the tractors it makes reference to. Though it would be better to have a more comprehensive product for the uninitiated, I haven't yet found another publication that covers these tractor's various systems and components better than represented here.
