Great Keepsake!
I received this book as a gift and have ordered 10 of them to have on hand for engagement / shower/ wedding gifts!The price is right for this book to be an acceptable gift for an aquantance.For people I am close to, I will pair it with another gift.

Great gift !
This book has become our standard wedding gift.Our daughter and son-in-law received one for their wedding and love it.We always get postive reactions to the book.Anyone can go to Walmart/Target/Bath Bed & Beyond and get something off of the registery.But this gift is quite unique.It won't wear out or get put on the top shelf of the kitchen cupboard.I buy several at a time to have on hand, then all I need is a wedding card to go with it!!

The One Stop Shop Book
I loved the Instyle Weddings Edition.It was very thorough and nice hard cover quality.I would definately recommend this to all bride and grooms to be!

Wow! What a book!
I saw this book in Amazon together with Martha Stewart's Wedding Book and since I admire Style's Wedding magazine, I decided to purchase this book. What a great find! It has ideas on every aspect of the wedding. Lots of very cool ideas. I particularly like the ideas for photos and beauty. Definitely worth it.

Beautiful Book for Budding Bridezillas

This is a great planner!
A few friends of mine went through planning a wedding and they shared later that it was almost a nightmare because there are sooooo many things that you have to plan and organize usually on the run. I am in a committed relationship from so long but didn't feel good enough in bed to propose her. After I turned from average into a great lover thanks to the bestseller Scientfically guaranteed male multiple orgasms and ultimate sex, I eagerly selected this book for the planning. After all if you do THIS part of the process right, it will be easier during the organization of the event. Carley Roney and the guys from the site did a great job and reveal step-by-step how to plan everything in great details. There are numerous glossaries, worksheets, and tips that make this book a must have. It is very affordable and I am sure that it is one of the books that will help you to start your new life as a couple in the best way.

Unreasonable
I've read three different wedding planning books, and this one is absolutely the worst.I actually took this book quite seriously when I first began planning my wedding, but then after going through all the different tasks involved with planning the wedding, I re-read the book to see if I missed anything or could do anything better.After spending a few hours re-reading this book, I was shocked at all the misleading information in it... not to mention the snobbiness of the person/people who wrote it!I was so mad I almost threw this useless book straight in the garbage!
I have never received this book
I ordered this book in June and here it is August and I have never received it. I never have any problems with the private dealers they are prompt and efficient. Don't know why it should be any different from amazon. Last tracking I could find on it was in Phila. some where. I don't live in Phila., nor do I have time to spend tracking. *****The best wedding saver resource out there****
I bought this book about a year ago right after I got engaged.Since then I am constantly amazed at how much research and collaboration the authors have done on this book.I have spent hours in books store flipping through all the wedding books and have found that hands down this is the best out there if you are wanting to save some money and get the best bargain.I am definitely recommending this book to all my friends and everyone planning a wedding.

Great book
I have to admit, I plan events for a living (Fundraisers & Corporate events, but no clue on wedding planning) so I figured I needed something to "enlight me" and I bought this book from this website I have to say I love it! I has awesome ideas, obviously you might not agree with every single thing in it, but still, some of the ideas are great. Also, the book is kind of funny, the writers are great. I hightly recomend it.

Bridal Bargains is a great help!
There are so many factors that go into wedding planning, it can be overwhelming!I bought this book because I have a rather modest budget, but still want my special day to be, well, special.There are dozens of great tips, and tons of information - things I never would have thought of myself.My only complaint is the size and shape of the book itself - I suppose it's long and narrow to fit into a tote, but instead its a little difficult to deal with.Of course, this doesn't have anything to do with what's inside!I highly recommend this book! ... No More Happily Ever After
I'm writing this after the news that the couple have split.
Sad
I actually feel sorry for Jessica.She reminds me of Jennifer Lopez in that she is always striving one way or another to get the attention of the public, regardless, of how it affects those around her.This book is another self indulgent compliment to her narcisstic self as the book cover confirms.Personally, I don't find her really that beautiful.I can't help feeling Nick felt ripped off marrying this doll of the media.Good luck to them both.What happens after the dream wedding is achieved?Will they both live happily ever after in their day-to-day regular life as a married couple?I guess we all know the answer.

Very Helpful Book
This book will help you understand masculine/feminine relationships----not the way you'd "like" them to be but the the way they are in reality.Through understanding the reality of relationships,you'll be able to keep a stable relationship and even "change roles" when appropriate.Awareness is better than "unawareness".Recommended. Great book. It crystalizes what we already know intuitively; 'Me Tarzan, you Jane'. Doesn't matter who is who, as long as there's only one of each in the relationship! Just OK
I bought this book hopeing to get into shape for my wedding, I find it dificult to follow. Yes she does map out a plan but you have to filp back and forth and practilly memorize the book before you go to the gym to get the moves down!

Great even for those whose wedding is years away
I actually didn't buy this book because I am getting married anytime soon - since I am not - but because I had heard that it is one of the most comprehensive exercise books out.From the ones that I have encountered, I have to agree.It combines easy to understand (not always so easy to do - at least the first time) routines with tips on how to get yourself motivated.And the charts that come with it are a great tool to get anyone started on a comprehensive fitness program, whether you have a year or just a few months.

I WENT FROM LAZY TO ATHLETE!!!
If i could wrap up Tamara and her program and take them home I would! I went from being totally unmotivated to get my butt off the couch to exercising daily. i totally toned up and can now wear the clothing i want to. I feel fantastic. i have tons of energy, my confidence is soaring and i know i will be a beautiful bride. I changed my dress to something i really wanted - strapless - now that i have sexy arms. We just booked our honeymoon vacation and I can't wait to get on that bikini and hit the beach. Ladies, I highly recommend this book. Becoming a Wedding Planner
I HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone interested in becoming a wedding planner. I could have saved myself a lot of time and trouble if I had purchased this book before I started my own research. Amazing book!!

Wedding Planner/Coordinator Guide
I loved this book because it didn't totally focus on the aspect of becoming a wedding planner, but also the more silent topics.It provided me with perfect examples of purchase orders, service requests, billing, and the how to's of marketing my future business.One can apply the information in this book to almost any personal business with a little tweeking of words and services, of course....Highly recommend the FabJob Guide to becoming anything your heart desires!!!

Dynamite!
For the size and intent, this is the best book on the market. If you are thiking of becoming a professional wedding planner, this introductory book covers all the things you will have to learn. What it doesn't cover in detail, it points you in the direction of where you can find more information, with recommended websites and book titles. What it won't do, however, is teach you all the minute and various specific details that apply to your market and jurisdiction. As with any business, you still have to do a lot of legwork before you can actually make any money. The best wedding photography book
Great advise on both technical and artistic aspects of wedding photography as well as planning and logistics. Concise, to the point information without excess writing. And of course lots of examples of inspiring photography.

The best wedding photography book I own!
As a wedding photographer, I tend to collect books like this one.But this one is AWESOME.It has specific recommendations on exactly which lenses to take, as well as other incidentals to pack in your gear.It also tells you the exact settings/lens used for each photo in the book, AND it tells you what extra work was done in Photoshop.I rarely read technical books cover to cover, but this one I did!

All you need to know
Bambi Cantrell is, quite simply, a legend in the wedding photography industry, both as a shooter and educator.Skip Cohen has impressive credentials of his own, as president of Hasselblad USA, and now a guiding force of The Rangefinder Magazine and WPPI.If there is anything about wedding photography that these two luminaries don't know, it's not worth knowing.

Fantastic!
I absolutely adore this book!I would be nowhere in my wedding planning without it.To make things a bit easier, though, I took out the comb, three-hole punched it and put it into a 3-ring binder.I also bought some folders and some stick-on tabs, hole punched the folders and organized it all in the binder.Now?Now I carry this thing EVERYWHERE!The lists for inputting information about vendors and receptions sites and everything are a GODSEND, and I have tons of photocopies of each of them in the binder.I've ended up with a few other crappy wedding planners, and none of them even compare to this one.I haven't even so much as looked at the other ones since I got this one!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Not as Useful as We Expected
This was the first book I bought when my daughter became engaged. I didn't find it very useful, and neither the bride nor the groom ever looked at it. It has long lists of "things to consider", including things like handing out nail polish to bridesmaids. Then there are "dos and don'ts", including things like "don't be controlling." There are many worksheets, and separate pages listing duties for each person in the wedding party, including the flower girl and ring bearer. This might be something for the nervous bride who needs to feel sure that she has thought of absolutely everything, or it might simply make you nervous. It is not a fun book, and we found that many of the pretty coffee table bridal books included all the necessary forms and checklists.

Great book with lots of pictures for ideas!
This book was very helpful in helping me plan for my wedding.Although it doesn't have any tabs for each area of a wedding, it would have been a big help so that I wouldn't have to thumb through the book to search for specifics.Has great outlines to follow and good for self planned weddings. There are better things out there
I got this planner free when my fiance bought my engagement ring at Jared.I was very excited to get it, thinking it would be so helpful.Last night, I started putting it together (we just got engaged a week ago).As others have mentioned, the pages aren't seperated into the tabs.Well, as it turns out, the tabs pull double duty - so, Ceremony and Flowers are the same tab - the front has a pocket for ceremony stuff and the back has a pocket for flower stuff - but there are two seperate sections for the ceremony and the flowers.Which means you would always be searching for where the flower section starts.Why didn't they just double the tabs or really combine the sections?
This thing is a life saver!!!!!
I was keeping everything in a folder which was starting to get out of control, so my Maid of Honor gave this organizer and I loved it! One of my bridesmaids has even asked me where to get one just like it for her planning!A tip...Amazon has it for the best price!

The very thorough text details all aspects of fabrics and construction: the unique characteristics of each type of fashion fabric, including extensive information on manipulating lace; preparing the muslin mockup (a necessary first step to ensure a perfect fit); adjusting the bodice, sleeves, and skirt and joining them all together; adding ornamentation; and handling bustles and trains. The final chapter presents all the specifics of making four gowns of different styles. The novice and even the advanced sewer will learn much here, and perhaps best of all, pattern-drafting experience is not required--the author works her transformations on purchased patterns. If you're ambitious enough to make your own wedding gown, this book is absolutely essential, but even if you're hiring someone else to custom-make your gown, you'll find this an invaluable guide. Great book!
I bought this in addition to Bridal Gowns:How to Make the Wedding Dress of Your Dreams. This book had some different ways of approaching the same topics in the other book so it was nice to have a different perspective. She goes into detail on fabrics and lace and how to use them, bustles, embellishents and takes you step by step through the making of several of the gowns you see in full color in the "gallery" in the front of the book. Also includes detailed construction techniques to give the dress a couture look inside and out. I would highly recommend this book!

This book offers a lot despite its size.There is plenty of advice on how to write your own wedding vows.The book gives you a lot to think about that helps you write your own personalised vows.This book contains many poems and thoughts so you can choose the words that express how you feel for your loved one.The book caters for everyone and it does so very sensibly without offending anyone.The book is one of the best books I've read and has so much to offer.I highly recommend it.For the price alone its a good value.Makes an ideal gift.If you dont want to buy several books you should consider this book.

very very helpful
I am a newly ordained minister.With this book I was able to help the couple that i wedded, by putting together vows, and a perfect ceremony.It was easy to read.It had all kinds of helpful advice and it helped me build beautiful vows for this couple.This book will be my refrence to putting together other weddings. If your planner hasn't read this....
I am a wedding planner (eventsbykaren@hotmail.com) and if you aren't using a planner, you are nuts, and if you are and they haven't read this book, they are nuts!All people planning a wedding should read this book.Even if you don't read it and only use it as a reference then you still should buy this book.A wedding is a one shot deal and if you haven't planned one before, trust me, you have NO IDEA what it takes!There is a reason why planners make good money.This is one book that I recommened to all brides, mothers, fiances, and planners regardless of if you are using a coordinator or not.

Best wedding book yet!
If you are on a mission to plan a fantastic wedding, this is the book to read.This is the 3rd wedding book I have read in the last few months, and by far the most useful!It has great advice on how to get organized and plan the perfect wedding.I would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding.

Wonderful for beginners
I loved this book. It is wonderful for beginners as well as others. It's written for the younger witchs out there, but I thinkthat is why I liked it so much. It was easy to read and even gave you assignments like homework. It is one of the only beginner books I have read that wasn't a drag. The only problem I had with it was some of the color & word meanings; they were not the same as any of my other books, so watch out for that.

Excellent for beginners
I think this book is excellent for anyone new to the magickal path as it deals with some basic notions. It is then easier for an apprentice to choose the books necessary for further studies.

Good but misguided.
Other than it being directed at the yonger audience, my only other problem with this book is that the author blatantly badmouths Satanists, I guess religious tolerance doesn't count with that path, and needs to freshen up his knowledge on herbs.The last time I checked, garlice was not poisonous.I would not recommend this book to any beginner on the Pagan path without supervision from a more experienced and knowledgeable Pagan.Overall, there issome decent information, however, it's got some hiccups along the way. ... Looked far and Wide

yummy, accurate, special dishes that will become staples
We got this as a wedding gift and have been using it for the past few months.The recipes are easy to follow and the photographs are scrumptious.Several dishes -- the wild rice pilaf, orzo with pine nuts, and bread pudding -- have become staples in our new home.Sure, the stories are a bit saccherine, but that is exactly the kind of feeling new marriage evokes in most couples.
Great for those who love to entertain!
I bought this book for myself, although I've been married going on 18 years. I'm typically a microwave-it-and-go girl, but the recipes looked like they could produce elegant meals with simple ingredients.And they do! We hosted a dinner party for 12 and served the pork tenderloin recipe with mango and mint salsa with blackberry syrup and got raves! This is my new favorite cookbook.I'm buying it for all new brides I know!
